Hey! I’m happy to share the August 2024 Calendar! The Word of the Month is Kindness and I’m excited to talk about that. For some reason, August reminds me of a coral color so that is what I chose for the color pallet. Nice, right?!
August 2024 Calendar and the Word of the Month is Kindness
I have something to add to your Augyst 2024 calendar.That is to look for opportunities to be kind!

So let’s talk about kindness… We all know what it is and I’m sure we have all given and received it. The thing is, Kindness is contagious! Have you ever been the recipient of a pay it forward act or started one yourself? I think this is such a fun concept!
I have listed some ideas of how you can look for opportunities to show kindness. You can add some of these things to our calendar.
Smile
Say a friendly hello to a stranger
Sincerely compliment someone
FAVORS: hold a door, pick up or carry something, etc.
Smile
Say I love you to someone you love
HUG someone
HIGH FIVE someone
THANK someone
Smile
Contribute 10 or more minutes to a good cause
Give something to someone (food, $, Flower, etc)
Do anonymous favor for family member or friend
Make someone laugh
Pay it forward
Defend someone
Express concern for someone with needs
Talk to someone who’s shy or lacking confidence
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
Smile
Add it to your calendar!

People who give of themselves in a balanced way also tend to be healthier and live longer. Kindness can increase your sense of connectivity with others, decrease loneliness, combat low mood and improve relationships. It also can be contagious, encouraging others to join in with their own generous deeds.
