I wish I could explain what makes me decide on the happy thoughts and quotes I choose to share each week.
I feel like it is done with a little inspiration. :):)
I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone and share something personal about me this week. This experience is what brings me to many of the happy thoughts I share on here. Believe it or not!
About 5 years ago I was working with my husband running our cabinet business that had just gone through a major growth spurt. Business was great up until that point and we were happily fulfilling a dream we had of working together and having our own successful business. Within a year the economy pretty much crumbled as well as the building industry, sending most of our builders we provided work for to go bankrupt and it eventually brought us to close our doors of business as we knew it, and to start over. This was a difficult time for us. There is much more to this story which I will share another time, but the reason for sharing this was that this experience has led me to inkhappi. It also led me into a few other things that somewhat shook my world a bit. Instead of using this as an excuse to mope and be miserable I decided to just BE HAPPY. After all, happiness IS a CHOICE.
