It’s been 6 months since I have shared some spiritual thoughts from the semi-annual LDS General Conference that was held this past weekend. I really look forward to these weekends which fall on the first weekend in both October and April each year. These LDS General Conferences consist of primarily six 2 hour sessions in which leaders of the LDS church speak on Christ centered topics. I am not sharing this to push religion on anyone. I just feel these are such great messages for anyone to hear. One of the things I love about them is they are are appropriate for Christians or others of many faiths. The topics are messages that reach out for the betterment of individuals and having a positive effect on society. I also enjoy the spirit these talks are given in. they are presented in a loving manner accompanied with some humor and some firm convictions and testimony.

I always share some of my favorite quotes as printables and will be doing so today. So many of these talks were things that have been on my mind a lot. Many of them were things that get under my skin a bit to be honest and I was like, “YES”! It is so nice to hear church leaders talk on topics that I feel would really benefit society in todays day and age. Many of these are things that I love to have in my mind to help me improve my life and be a better example to others. After watching Saturday’s LDS General Conference Sessions, I dealt with a situation that had tested my faith. Those talks were fresh on my mind and because of that I was able to overcome this situation that had been weighing heavily on my mind. So, I am grateful for that experience!
