LIGHT the WORLD
UPDATE: This is the 2016 version. For the 2017 version go here——>> 2017 LIGHT the WORLD
I’m sharing a free printable calendar to plan out what you’d like to do to participate in this wonderful opportunity to help Light the world!
Since a new star first appeared above Bethlehem, Christmas has been a season of light, reminding us that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Together, we can celebrate His birth by making the world a brighter place. All we have to do is follow Him—His life, His example, and His teachings. In doing so, we can help #LIGHTtheWORLD. (taken from mormon.org)
Here’s a video that shows the example we’d like to portray for this project. Lets Give Jesus and the world this perfect gift this month leading up to Christmas!
Here’s what I’m sharing to help LIGHT the WORLD
I’m really excited to do this myself. Tonight my hubby and I looked this over and started making our plan of action. I’m hoping this will help you too! I’m going to start by sharing the calendars. The first one is a calendar highlighting the 1st through the 25th of December. Each day lists an attribute of Jesus Christ and we choose an act of service or example to fullfil that day. By the 25th we will have shared many gifts and strengthened ourselves spiritually. Sounds awesome, right! The 2nd Calendar is a blank calendar that we can fill in ourselves with an action plan and ideas to accomplish each attribute.
I love the idea of finding ways to give back to Jesus at Christmastime by following his example. So here are the Calendars!

Ok, for this calendar you can go to LDS.org or Mormon.org for some really great ideas, or come up with your own ideas based on your personal situations. 🙂

Jillene says
Kari, I’d love to! I’m tight on time but have it planned for this week. This years is different having only 4 areas. One topic for each week. I love the new outline they have. I got a sneak peek at an event I went to.
