     Don’t live like a copy of someone else!

I absolutely LOVE this message! When you have children, especially teenagers, you want them to have good role models. I thought about this a lot as I cared for my grand daughter last week while her parents were out of town. I thought of her growing up and being faced with challenges and decisions that can influence her life for good or bad. I then thought of this message that is currently being promoted by Sadie Robertson. If you are not familiar with her, Sadie belongs in televisions “Duck Dynasty” family and she became very well known when she was in a recent season of “Dancing With the Stars”. That is where I got to know her. She stole my heart with her big beautiful eyes & smile and she openly shared a wholesomeness and Christian beliefs that was so endearing. She was also an amazing amateur dancer! You can find out more about her on her Live Original website. When I first heard about this line of products from DaySpring that Sadie was promoting with this message I just knew I had to get some! {{happi dance}} Sadie has teamed up with DaySpring to offer some awesome notebooks, folders, planners, journals, scripture cards, gift cards and more with inspirational scriptures and messages! When I heard about them, I went right to the Dayspring website and drooled over all of the cuteness! Then I headed to Hobby Lobby and picked up a few of these cute products myself. I’m going back for more as they keep getting things in! These also make awesome back to school supplies. You will have to check them out. they have some pretty cool sayings on them.

To live original is to be yourself, not a copy of someone else. It’s living a life confident of being the person God made you to be. I have a couple of special people in my life that I wanted to share some of this inspiration with so I made up some fun gifts with the printables and DaySpring products to let them know  just how wonderful they are! One of them happens to be my daughter. (shhhh) Yep! She has always been a positive example to me. One of the things I admired most about her growing up is that she kept high standards for herself and she never cared about being  someone she wasn’t. She didn’t do things just because it was popular or easy. She was true to herself. I just love that! She recently turned 25 and is currently happily married and an amazing mother of two. She still lives original. I know she’s gonna love her gift too! 😉

Ummmmmm… wouldn’t you like this gift? I know I would!

Next I made an 8×10 or 2 5×7 Live original prints that can be framed or just printed and placed wherever you want to be reminded to “Live Original”. These are black and white but the fun thing is if you desire, you can get highlighter pens and color in the white parts to any color design you wish!
