I remember the days when we would get out a pen and paper or any clever writable surface (like a napkin) and write a love note to that someone special. Raise your hand if you’ve ever received a love note on a napkin! Me! That can still happen, but times have also changed. There are so many options out there now and a lot more creative ways to write a message to someone special!
Today I’m talking about love letters.
AND I’m really excited about todays post because I get to give one of my readers a $100 Visa eCard and a membership to Blue Mountain! That means that the winner can take their “Sweetie” out on the town!
Wait… but this post is about love letters! 😉 With Valentines Day coming up it would be a great time to write a love letter! I can think of all kinds of people to write a love letter to and I have done just that! It was made easy for me from the Blue Mountain website where they share online cards and letters that you can personalize and print or send online. I have been busy working on my new home and trying to play catch up lately so I went to Blue Mountain and used their designs and had my letters written in just a few minutes of my time. The more I started playing with my letters the more fun it got! It took me a bit to figure out all the fun things I could do with my letters so I’m going to show you a few tips here so you can create some fun letters and be speedy at it too!
Head over to the Blue Mountain site and find their love letters HERE.
They have eight choices of love stationary.
To create the letter you’ll need: Paper, 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Use plain white paper, colored paper, or preprinted stationery stock. You will also need a printer.
Click on your favorite love letter stationary for the recipient you have in mind. (Choose a stationery style that fits your mood — whimsical, happy, serious, etc.)
Directions:
1. Click on Personalize Your Project to open the Create & Print workspace.
2. Personalize the text. Select the text to write over it or change size, color, and font style.
3. Add in any images or photos.
4. Print your project.
I have a screen shot that will show you how easy it is. You can personalize the font, font color, add photos or art and make it your own!
Thats all there is to it. I wrote several love letters myself!
Such as:
A fun one to my grandson– {my fav lil guy}
To the hubby——->> a love letter, a date invitation, and a couple of cheesy ones 🙂
To my Mother——>> another cheesy one
I might even go in and write some friendship letters to my friends.
Here is an example of some of my love letters!
OK Now for the giveaway! I have teamed up with Blue Mountain to give away a$100 Visa eCard and a 1 year membership to one lucky participant.
