Hello! How about a recipe for some Love Potion?
and…
60 fun new valentine ideas?
With Valentines Day fast approaching I am participating in a Blog Hop organized by Abbey from The Cards We Drew. We are sharing over 60 DIY valentine ideas and I am sharing a gift idea of a fun Love Potion!
I’ll show you how I did it!
Here’s a list of what you will need:
-soda, lemonade or water bottle
-powdered drink packet (your choice, ie… Kool Aid, Crystal Light, etc.)
-printed tags, cut out (download provided)
-a straw (optional)
-twine or thin ribbon
-tape (double sided is best)
-hole punch
I chose some fun bottled sodas that I got at Cost Plus World market. they have fun varieties of Gingerale, Lemonades, and Soda. This idea would still go over well with bottled water or any kind of bottled drink of choice. I just thought the old fashioned sodas were cute!
You will need to download, print and cut out these tags for your love potion:

NEXT:
-Tape the potion tag to the powdered drink packet.
-Cut a piece of twine 18-24 inches
-Punch a hole in the tags and run twine through tags attaching the potion packet and straw.
Thats it! Cute, huh?
.
Its a little silly, but thats what Valentines are about, right?
I just know that drinking the love potion will bring out all kinds of LOVE all around!! {wink-wink}
.
I hope you can have some fun with this idea.
See what that love potion can do for you!
I find valentines to be a fun way to show you care about someone. You don’t need to have romance to enjoy a fun valentine. make someones day and share a valentine! Now, how about checking out all these other awesome valentine ideas?

Jillene,
Thank you so much for the great idea for valentines Day. I know I’m planning a bit early but the topic was on my mind.
I wanted a unique idea and this love potion concept truly resonated with me as it’s the exact type of thing my GF is into.
Do you have any other posts on ideas for valentines day I might like?
