Ok so for for {SUNDAY- DAY THREE} of free print-ables I thought I’d share a spiritual thought.
Last weekend I was able to observe the Bi-annual LDS General Conference.
There were so many great messages shared but a theme that stood out to me loud and clear was to
LOVE
&
SERVE
Linda K Burton impressed me with her message on this subject:
“For some, serving or ministering one by one, following the Savior’s example, doesn’t come easily. But with practice, each of us can become more like the Savior as we serve God’s children. To help us better love one another, I would like to suggest four words to remember: First observe, then serve.”
Thomas S Monson has reminded us:
“We are surrounded by those in need of our attention, our encouragement, our support, our comfort, our kindness. … We are the Lord’s hands here upon the earth, with the mandate to serve and to lift His children. He is dependent upon each of us.”
Through scripture, we are all invited to follow Jesus’s teachings and to minister to others.
We can do this by first Observing; then Serving!
There are so many people who are wonderful examples of loving & serving.
Sadly, there is also selfishness and intolerance out there.
We all could afford to reevaluate this message and determine what we can to make life for those around us a little more pleasant.
