October 2017 Calendar and a Positive thought...

Hey there! The October 2017 Calendar is bringing me back from a little summer hiatus I’ve taken. It’s good to be back and share another calendar. October is the month when I get my first glimpse of fall… and I love fall! Time for all things pumpkin and cooler weather which makes me a happy girl. 🙂

October 2017 Calendar

The thought that hit me (like a ton of bricks) was this:

Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate.

Honestly, I’m a bit tired of some of the negativity I come across. It’s hard not to see it unless you avoid social media and going out in public. This months message is one of positivity. One way to handle this?

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

I’d like to take that further by promoting something positive that we love. Here’s an exercise to try: Take a subject, any subject and say only good things about it. Such as, I like that…. I like that… I like that… (about the subject) and leave it at that, Nothing negative. Then promote the good stuff. If we all practiced this I think life would be less frustrating at times and we’d have a more positive environment. So that’s it. The message for October. This is something I’ve always tried to do but I’m going to focus more on it with the October 2017 calendar month and see if I can make a difference.
