Valentine Banners
If you decorate for valentines day at all, then these are for you. These DIY valentine banners are so easy to put together and will add a special touch around your home this time of year. Some ideas for use are:
put them on a wreath
add them to a frame
string on a wall between photos
string them on your mantle
Hang them in an entryway
YOU get creative!! 😉
These DIY valentine banners are so easy to put together. You can decide what works best for you. I used this method:
1. print banners
2. cut out banners
3. string banners {I used bakers twine}
-for strips I folded the back over to make the length of the strips I wanted. Then, put the string under the flaps and use double sided tape to secure it in place!
-for triangles I used a needle and the twine to sew/string them together going down on the left and up through on the right, repeat through all the triangles to get the desired length of banner. (I used 5 in my photos)
You know, I am not usually patient with DIY projects and this was totally do-able and worth it! By the way I just printed these on my home printer from the jpeg file. The colors turned out vibrant and wonderful!
The results:
I even took a mirror that was in my bathroom, added a lipstick message {I<3 you!} and a banner. Then I waited to get a response from my bffhubby when he saw it! {wink wink}
Fun huh?!
You can also do this banner with washi tape. Mine is a bit wider than tapes and offers a good variety but if you have the tape and want to try that, here is a great tutorial! The Wood Connection ——–>>Tutorial Tuesday: Washi Tape Banner

I have so many cute valentine prints. if you missed any, you can pick them up HERE (valentine subway print) or HERE (8 “love” prints)! There are quite a few to choose from and they would make a nice framed valentine gift or to add in your own home with one of these banners.
