I’m all about calendars and today I’m sharing the 2018 Annual Calendar! It certainly doesn’t feel like a year has passed since I posted the 2017 calendar and now the year is coming to an end and we have new adventures awaiting us. Because I just posted the January calendar, I kind of coordinated the two.

Thinking about the new year, something I’d really like to focus more on is first, just being “ME”. Coco Channel has said…

Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.

Lets stop comparing ourselves to someone else and find true happiness within ourselves and who we are. This has gotten easier for me the older I get. Honestly, it should not matter what others think. Just try to be your best self. Learn to embrace your imperfections and mistakes made.

Next, Let’s just “love everyone”.

Carry a heart that never hates. Carry a smile that never fades. Carry a touch that never hurts.

What a great attitude to have. Set a standard to not speak ill of others. If they are annoying, love them anyway. If they often make poor choices, love them anyway. If they are just too different from you, learn to love their differences. Lets do it!

And then I suggest…

…let the adventures of “YOU” begin!

Part of our adventure is making mistakes and learning from trials, other parts can be thrilling and exciting. It may mean new relationships, travels, work or a growing family. So much to look forward to!

What adventures are you looking forward to in 2018? I always love holidays, trips to our cottage, our annual family week in Newport, enjoying my growing grandchildren, and just being with family.
