It seems like 2020 has just begun but here I am sharing the March 2020 Calendar! March means spring will soon be here. I also look forward to our annual spring break week at Newport beach. This calendar is bright and springy!

Be yourself, but be your BEST self
This months motivational thought is somewhat a two part challenge. First, “be yourself”… I don’t know about you but I;m drawn to people who are genuine and “imperfect” because let’s face it non of us are perfect.I’m also getting pretty good at spotting a fake or someone who is trying to appear or be someone they’re not. We live in a world where through social media we see only the highlight reels of many and it’s hard to know who they really are. It’s refreshing to see someone show the not so glamorous sides also. For me this makes them more likable, and genuine.
A good way to be ourself is to not worry so much about what others may be thinking about us or expectations we feel we need to meet. Just put your best foot forward and just be YOU!

Now let’s talk about being our BEST self. Who want’s to move backward? Who want’s to continually improve to become a better person? (me! *raises hand) I’m going to share 30 ideas that can help to make us be our BEST selves. Maybe we can choose one (or some) to work on this month!
- Recognize opportunities to grow and change.
- Have respect for yourself and others.
- Forgive and let go of anger.
- Focus on being positive. (Quit complaining)
- Create a good habit.
- Get rid of a bad habit.
- Set some goals.
- Practice a talent you have.
- Admit when you’re wrong. Apologize.
- Be a good listener.
- Create opportunities.
- Be responsible.
- Live up to your values.
- Do the things you love.
- Accept and learn from criticism.
- Don’t bad mouth or judge others.
- Show compassion and kindness toward others.
- Volunteer or do service.
- Practice good self care,
- Do things you love.
- Love yourself!
- Laugh more. Have fun!
- Don’t procrastinate.
- Try new things. Stretch yourself.
- Be true to yourself and your values.
- Do a kind deed daily.
- Keep learning and broaden your knowledge.
- Improve your physical health.
- Face a fear.
- LOVE LIFE.
You’re bound to find something on this list that can help you to be your best self. I’m going to pick a few to work on. I realy wan’t to challenge myself and see improvement. How about you?!!

Love it Jillene. Here in Australia, we are going into Autumn but this is still so relevant. We are in our wet season, which is about 2 mths out of whack. Use to be Dec/Jan, now is Feb/Mar. So everything is very green at the moment and lots of butterflies around. Also relevant in regards to your quote and personal problems of dealing with my family at the moment.
