Hey there hey! I’m here with a printable “Productive To Do List” to hopefully help life to run a bit smoother. My experience has shown me that planning ahead and having a list can increase productivity immensely thus freeing up more time for what’s most important in our life.
There’s a difference between being productive and being busy.
Being productive is defined as achieving or producing a significant amount or result.
Being busy is having a great deal to do or staying continuously occupied.
…and I will add that I think “being busy” is overrated!
Being busy is seriously overrated. Slow down and relax.
We can spend all our time doing something but that doesn’t always produce results. It can make us tired and take time away from things that may be more important.
Stop the GLORIFICATION of being busy.
More doesn’t necessarily mean better. And my new favorite quote…
HAPPY is the new busy.
Yes! So let’s focus on being PRODUCTIVE, not BUSY!

What completes this print is a “pretty” printable to do list. One that you can place your focus on PRODUCTIVITY.

Five things that will help you produce a productive to do list:
- PLAN ahead.
- Only put items on your list to complete that are a priority and will produce positive results.
- Prioritize items 1-3 or a-b-c with one and a being most important.
- Complete highest priority first. Eliminate trivial tasks. (you may find some tasks unnecessary as you evaluate them.
- Don’t begin new task until current task is complete. Check it off and move on!
I hope this helps make tasks go much smoother and allows you to create extra time for YOU! My daughter is a productivity expert and she has helped me to improve my own productivity. Head over to her Blog and check it out. This post on productivity also has come great daily tips!

This is much nicer than my usual scribbled To Do List on a scrap of paper that I attach to my fridge with a magnet.
Thank you Jillene – it is very pretty 🙂
