September 2018 Calendar and Motivational Print

Another day. Another calendar. It’s time for the September 2018 Calendar and motivational print. And this is a fun one! (wink-wink)

I have a secret to creating a happy life. Even though work isn’t always fun, I believe it’s essential in life. As much as I believe in work I also believe in having FUN! How can you truly enjoy life without having an element of fun in it? Even Dr Seuss knows that! (This print is from my March 2018 Calendar-click on photo to get the print)

There’s a couple of sayings I often repeat to myself:

Work Hard – Play Hard

Or, I may ask the question…

What are ya doing? Working hard? or hardly working?

That gets you thinking! Right?

What does it mean to WORK HARD? To me, it means accomplishment. I feel satisfied and motivated when I accomplish something. Sometimes it means helping someone out which should have the end result of feeling good. Working hard is exceeding expectations, and persisting when others may have given up. This can bring forth a great feeling of self fulfillment.

What does it mean to PLAY HARD? For me, it’s doing fun and adventurous things or doing nothing at all. But it must bring a smile, a laugh, a feeling of peace or contentment, and satisfaction! One of the reasons I like vacations so much is because it allows me to play hard. It’s a time to put your worries aside and to just ENJOY! That is true happiness. 🙂

Soooo… my challenge this month is simple: WORK HARD & PLAY HARD. While you do so, think about how it all has an impact on your life. I’m sure you’ll conclude that it does add to the happiness factor in life!
