Today, I thought I’d share something personal about myself.

I am, always have been, and I am sure will always be a

Girly Girl!

I love fashion, style, clothes, SHOES, and accessories!!

and sometimes, against my better judgement,

I get into some FADS and TRENDS.

Which brings me to this:

Sometimes, you never REALLY know whats in your closet…

There’s a LEOPARD in my closet! {Confessions of a “Girly Girl”}

Lately, I have been drawn to LEOPARD prints. Not a lot of it, but a touch of it. I love it with hot pink, coral, aqua, a touch of red or as a small accessory to an outfit. Two things happened this week with my lil leopard obsession going on right now that put a bit of  “happi” in me!

Story #1

I had been missing some of my jackets and winter tops. Last fall I thought hmmmm, maybe I got rid of or somehow lost some of the items I thought were missing. Well, the other day I was looking through my BFF hubby’s closet (which is much smaller than mine-ha} and hidden in a corner was a stack of jackets & fall clothes that I had been missing for over a year. It was like Christmas for me, as some of the things were still pretty cute! There was one item that stood out to me. It was a jacket I got years ago at a bargain price [I think like $6] —-> I am not sure why I have kept it because it wasn’t worn much but… now I am crazy about it and can’t wait to wear it!! Wanna see it?!!

$6 bargain… with a touch of leopard! <3

CUTE – huh!!

ok story #2

I have been on the hunt for some really cute leopard print shoes. I have followed links on Pinterest only to find them unavailable. I have been drawn into stores by a cute pair in the window and have it not pan out for me. the other day I was with a friend and she had a darling pair of Steve Madden ones on and I complimented her on them and then went on to tell her I had been on a hunt for a pair similar ( I particularly liked the open toe). When I got home I was looking for something in my closet and what did I discover???

Thisssssssssss!

Yep! For reals. In my closet. Purchased last year.

I had to text this photo to my friend so we could both laugh a bit over it.

I had been an owner of some cute open toe Steve Madden shoes all along!!!

OK. So now I am the “queen of happi”

Right? so….

I must share a few more of my favorite leopard accessories I found in my closet!

This rockin’ watch!

Isn’t it stunning on that hot pink? hee hee

This sweet necklace…

Another bargain that sat in my closet for a couple of years before pulling out recently…

This fun purse!

{ruffled leopard purse}

I LOVE this little leopard scarf. especially when it is tied on my wonderful coral purse !

(thank you Gail for the amazing birthday gift)

And last but not least… I needed something FABULOUS to keep all my girly accessories in!

Thats it folks, a look into my closet and a bit about me and my trendy, girly self!

What’s in your closet?!!

Enjoy!

!!! One more announcement:

Yesterday I purchased a really amazing, comfortable and cute pair of Betsey Johnson leopard print shoes.

Yep. $14.99 at Ross. Couldn’t pass it up. After all…

A GIRL CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY SHOES!

How was the first couple weeks of 2021? “They al How was the first couple weeks of 2021? “They always say time changes things but you actually have to change them yourself. “ -Andy Warhol Yep! True that. If we want 2021 to be better we have to make the change. That’s why I’m spending this month (a little late) preparing for a great year. Got my planner working for me and I’m going to make some changes for the better. Who’s with me? My January calendar comes with the word print PREPARATION to help with the motivation. I also shared a message about this #ontheblog #inkhappidesigns
Do you have a word or words you’d like to focus Do you have a word or words you’d like to focus on for 2021? I haven’t picked mine yet but I like to have a focus word. I’m always a little behind in the game but I think this one word Wellness would work. Ironically that was my 2020 word. I started out the year so good. I lost 30 lbs and was on a healthier path and then Covid happened and some things went out the window. But I still believe in having a focus word. I designed over 70 of these prints and I sell them for $1.00 each and I will customize one for $3.00. They are so popular in my shop. (shopinkhappi.com) Do you have a word for 2021 to focus on? Just curious if so what is it? I also have a list of 100 ideas for that one word #ontheblog. Link in bio #inkhappidesigns

These are my people and I'm so grateful for them! These are my people and I'm so grateful for them! I don't talk much about this but having an only child has been one ofn my hardest trials to endure. I would of loved to have more children and give my daughter siblings but it wasn't meant to be. That doesn't stop me from being so so grateful to be blessed with her in my life. She's been an exceptional child and has given me a son in law and two darling grand kids. I'm glad that she married into a family of 5 boys and a girl and lots of in laws and nieces/nephews. One thing I've learned is that a family is a family no matter how big or small. These are the people I like to laugh with, share with, vacation with with and celebrate holidays and birthdays with. My people!
