OK I blew it big time! I totally forgot to post the August 2022 Calendar and It’s already almost time for September’s! So here is another happy post and you can look forward to September 2022 Calendar in a few days. So here we go for August!

I personally really like this calendar and I’m sorry it came so late. When I was thinking of a thought, this one hit me:

Do what makes you happy

This is me right now. I have a lot of health issues. I have Lupus and a really bad flare up took my kidney function to stage 4 kidney disease. I struggle and am nearing dialysis but holding on! I am limited to what I can do and life is kind of hard. This is where the “Do what makes you happy ” comes in. I’ve gone through a lot of difficult things in the last year or two and it’s forced me to be more true to myself and to find my happy.

Happiness doesn’t always come easy so you have to create it for yourself. I’ve been working on being true to myself and more authentic. Even though I am limited in what I do I can choose to be in the moment and do the things that make me happy! Even though I have a bit of a boring life, I am choosing happiness over all! I’ve learned that taking some time away and being alone can do wonders for your mood and outlook, as well as help you find the meaning of true happiness. I use this time to do more of the things that make me happy. Maybe it’s a hobby, exercise, reading, or whatever it is you should know.

Another thing I do is look at my calendar and see upcoming events and things to look forward to. Lately I’ve been all about planning my trip to Vegas in September and Hawaii in November!
