School Year Memories and Co-ordinating Lunchbox Notes!

Hello! I’m back again today sharing another back to school post. Preserving school year memories is a great way to allow ourselves to look back and reminisce or see how things have changed over a period of time. Today I am sharing some school year memories and lunchbox note printables that will do just that.

Something cool about these free printables is that they can help you share and preserve school year memories with your child while also giving them a chance to get to know you better in the process! This can be done with a school year memories page and some cute co-ordinating lunch box notes. Win-win! Yes!

We all have done it…

…come across a keepsake from our past and get all happy and sentimental over it! What’s even better is to come across a book of school year memories! That is why it is a good idea to start recording these memories at a young age! My daughter was looking for something to help her to preserve school year memories with my grandson {who happens to be my handsome model quite often} as he just began pre-school this past year. I created a printable that can be used for this purpose and it is also very versatile.

It can be:

*Used for a boy or girl

*Will adapt to any age

*Can be used once or several times a year

*Generic form allows to adjust the grade, date, and personal details

It has some school year memory questions, a place for a photo, their handwriting or doodles, and some personal details. I know my grandson is only 3 but he can still answer these questions, write his name and show off a photo. The great thing is older kids, even teenagers can fill out the same form and someday they may look back at it and really enjoy reading it. Thats how versatile it is! It can be filled out more than one time a year also to record changes from beginning to end of year.

Fun huh?!!

Now I am going to share some really cute lunch box notes that co-ordinate with this school year memory record. What is really cool about them is that it gives you a chance to have your child get to know fun facts about you in their lunchbox. These lunchbox notes answer some of the same questions that the kids answer on their school year memory sheets so they can find out more about the loved one leaving these cute notes in their lunches!

Thanks Cori! I’m not sure many get that right away about these but its a great way to “share” fun facts about each other. I like that about these too.
