Bringing you another quick, easy, and absolutely YumMmy recipe today!
{ Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip }
I LOVE this Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip for so many reasons. I’m gonna tell you why… It’s so versatile, it’s great for any occasion and it is good with anything! Literally. This is a great springtime dip yet would be a wonderful addition at any holiday gathering, parties, or just chilling at home with a great snack. Now, what it goes well with? Really, like I said. ANYTHING! Ha, but to be specific because it has a sweet intensity it goes well with anything savory. Crackers, breads, chips, vegggies, and it would make a great fruit dip too! I love sweet and savory together so I think that is one of the reasons I enjoy this Pineapple cream Cheese dip so much! If you want to understand sweet & savory better, Wise Geek gives a great short definition of the flavors HERE.

Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip
Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip
This is a dip that you can’t really go wrong on. You can variate and use creativity to your own tasting. I find this version to be the yummiest!
- 2 8 oz pkgs cream cheese softened
- 1 lg can crushed pineapple (appx 16oz)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional more or less)
- 1 tsp season salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup finely diced celery
- chopped pecans (if desired)
- Mix seasonings and powdered sugar with softened cream cheese. Drain crushed pineapple very well and stir pineapple into cream cheese mixture. Add diced celery and chopped pecans as desired. Chill for at least 2 hours for best results. The dip will be somewhat firm when ready to serve. The pecans also make a nice garnish on top. Enjoy!
Yum, Right?
You can make this this Pineapple Cream Cheese dip to your tasting as far as sugar and seasonings. It will be good with or without! You can also opt to add other veggies such as peppers or green onions. I think I’d like to add some diced red pepper next time! This recipe makes about 4 cups and can be easily halved if desired.
I was also thinking it could be fun to add a little green food coloring for a St. Patty’s Day treat. Or just to enjoy during the Olympics closing ceremonies. Are you in? Try it!
Although it has celery in it, it is great as a spread on celery. I really like it with wheat thins and pretzels and any veggie/herb cracker. Sweet & savory. YUM!
Have a super weekend! 🙂
Enjoy!
