Here we go again! It was just a short year ago that I was sharing my top posts from the year 2013. Now I am sharing top posts of 2014! It was fun to see what posts ended up making the list. they were all a little different and some of the fall holiday posts made the cut. Wanna know wat #1 was? Well You are gonna have to read on to find out! I am starting with a bonus top post series which is always in my top posts then counting down from #10 to #1.
First of all my monthly calendars are always top posts each month. I love the positive feedback and support I receive on my monthly calendars. I always share a quote or a theme each month as well as a free print that goes with the calendar. December was the most popular calendar followed by May, and November. Dr Seuss! A celebration of a wonderful man!
I believe Dr Seuss is brilliant! His fun, quirky, rhyming nonsense makes it easy to learn to read. In fact, I credit Dr Seuss for teaching my daughter (who is also brilliant) to read. I would guess that a very large percentage of the American population owns or has owned something Seuss! Although I learned to read with “Fun With Dick & Jane”–hahah, Dr Seuss has taught me a few things too. I came up with “10 Life Lessons” that we can all learn from Dr Seuss! (read more)

With the end of the school year fast approaching are you still looking for that super cute, easy, and trendy teacher gift idea? I am sharing a simple idea for a great teacher gift and I am whipped up some printable tags to go along with it! Mason jars are all the rage right now and the are tons of ideas of ways you can use them with gifts. I love these 32 oz heavy plastic mason jar mugs with a metal lid and matching straw. They are sweat proof, dishwasher safe, and I did I mention {yes} that they come in 32 oz size?! I purchased mine near the garden section at Walmart for under $8. Elf on the Shelf and {More} Holiday Printables!
It is time to have some Holiday FUN and FUN with the ELF! I know everyone has their opinions on Elf on the Shelf. I personally don’t own one because I use my Mr & Mrs GRINCH being that my BFFhubby and I are empty nesters. My daughter does such darling things with her Elf on the Shelf though and yesterday she introduced their Elf, “Mr Dash” to Christmas 2013 with their traditional Elf breakfast. They make red and green eggs and have powdered donuts and hot cocoa with candy canes!
